I craft these earrings using an uncommon technique I’ve been experimenting with in the past several years, one that allows me to work directly with fire. I melt several pieces of silver until they reach a state between liquid and solid—at that point, I can shape the metal by hand. Each piece is different and one of a kind, and you can still see the texture of the fire and the gesture of my hand on each of them.
