Placing emphasis on artisanal working processes. Intuitive work, craftsmanship, commitment. Editions don't follow a season calendar. They are open and organic. Edition 5, mediterranean nostalgia. spanish folk art and rural life, their sobriety. and materiality, intuition, desire. And what I feel when sculpting silver directly with fire. I work each piece of this necklace directly with fire. Most of the times I melt a piece of silver until it is almost liquid, controlling the temperature and giving it shape by hand. Sometimes I just throw the melted pieces of silver to cold water to get an unpredictable and crazy shape produced by the thermal shock.
Each piece is different, unique. This process is pure present, and joy. It is almost magic, as you can see in this video
Made of solid sterling silver. It will be worked specially for you.
Because of its uniqueness nature, your necklace will be slightly different to the one pictured, the same sense of beauty, but with its own particularities.
Due to its artisanal nature, expect from one to two weeks before shipping. But please, let me know if you need it for a specific date.
I'm temporary opening the shop for third time this year, this time until Christmas. All shippings are free and shipped with FedEx ( shipping time is around 5 business days )
If you are in Ciudad de México, it would be so nice to receive you in my workshop in la Juárez, contact me to make an appointment or if you want to know prices in pesos.
After a pause in international shipping,
I'm currently in Spain and I will be able to ship
in-stock pieces within Europe for orders placed by August 14.
I've brought a small workshop with me to Menorca
and I will also be accepting a limited number of commissions.
If there's a piece you'd like me to make, please
write to me
before ordering so we can make sure there's enough time to complete it.
